My l anguage learning journey The English language has been in my life for quite a while. I have a British godfather, needing English in my workplace , talking in English in MMO games and watching tv programs in English. All these small thing s accumulated slowly over the years and built a foundation for my language skills. I believe many of my peers share similar experiences— perhaps not the godfather part, but the exposure through media, games, and everyday life. Usability of softw are The fifth chapter of Designing User Experience by David Benyon (2019) tells us about how usability is the foundation of designing a good user experience. The chapter is divided into four main parts : accessibility, usability, acceptability , and design princi p les. Benyon argues that even though a system looks good, works and is innovative, if it does no t meet the criteria of being usable, accessible and accepted, it fails. First, accessibility. Pacing yourself My friends in University are very easy - going about school projects. When I go to ask them about school stuff. S ometimes they tell me: “ What do you mean that’s good.” or “That’s good enough ” . Most of the time, I think the same. Other times they help me reacquire that mindset. I believe the majority of school projects aren’t something to lose sleep over. This isn’t something that is written in stone of course. There are some projects I want to give more to than others.
