Setting out on the path to programming Hello, I have been a student for under a month and in this blog I will share my past and future experiences. My name is Aapo, I am 25 years old and just recently started studying information processing science.  The past few weeks I have been kind of overloaded with new information about the field I’m studying, fellow students, course material, and all sorts of new things related to my upcoming time in this school. At least I didn’t have to move to a new city or country. That would’ve maybe been too much.  Luckily this field isn’t completely foreign to me. Most of my friends are working in or studying IT. A few years ahead though – which is good, since I can ask them for advice. I have also completed some courses already in Open University, so I got some understanding, what this field is about beforehand. Being a computer person all my life this seemed like a logical choice.
